JUST REMEMBER WHEN YOU STARTED DATING, YOU APPRECIATED HIM MORE, DO IT AGAIN BECAUSE : Appreciation is for men what caring is for women, the right way to get to their hearts. Appreciation is the right way to show your man your nurturing love, appreciation encourages a man to auto correct his shortcomings and mistakes, and appreciation keeps the flame of love alive.
In my interviews with women, many of them complain that men are emotionally needy because they need appreciation for everything they do. In my experience, men are the most loving, caring, considerate and understanding human beings when you appreciate them. So, giving appreciation to men is the best investment you can do in any loving relationship, whether he is your father, brother, son, husband or boyfriend.
"Once you are in a committed relationship, sex is extremely important to keep his love alive. However, sex alone is never enough; he also needs your emotional support".
What you are going to learn in this book are not tricks or tactics. This is actually basic knowledge every woman should know to understand men and relate well with them. Women hurt men constantly, but they have no idea of their mistakes because men don’t make the dramas women do. Actually, men don’t even talk about their painful feelings. Like Donald affirms: "Men don’t talk, hint, or even admit that they have been emotionally hurt". So, "when men feel offended or hurt, they suddenly withdraw and there is nothing a woman can do to avoid it", says Abe.
In my interviews with men and women, I realized that the following mistakes are the most common unconscious "crimes" women make that kill the attraction and push men away. Mistakes like telling him what to do or how to do something, scolding him, criticizing him, rejecting and complaining about his support or romantic gestures, insisting that he talks about his painful feelings, asking for his support when you are overwhelmed, telling him information he doesn’t know, taking revenge when he withdraws, offering help and pursuing him. This last one turns men off, but most of these mistakes actually offend and hurt them deeply. From my interviews with men, I got very useful tips for women to avoid making them. They are explained in chapter 4. |
